Air Fried Delicious Banana Bites

My favorite discovery as the holiday season and winter activities approach. Here is a nice little 100% carbohydrate (energy!) snack that can suit your indoor and outdoor activities!


It's like a Timbit, with less refined sugar and fat. It's like a banana muffin, but quicker to make and with less dishes to wash (no more washing those muffin tins!), and that can be eaten in one go even without taking off your winter gloves, and without making crumbs! A recipe so easy that you will make it often!


I wrote down the ingredients and quantities on my fridge, so I'm ready to make a new batch in no time!


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana mashed

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • pinch salt

  • cooking oil spray (I use avocado oil)


For the final touch :

  • One big spoon of white sugar

  • Cinnamon to taste

Steps

Mix all ingredients until dough forms. Form 7-8 small balls.


Spray all balls generously.


Preheat the Air Fryer to 350 degrees. When the air fryer is ready, place the balls on parchment paper and spray again! (This makes the balls crispy and gives them their beautiful golden color!)


Cook for 7-8 minutes, turning halfway through.


In the meantime, prepare a plate with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Roll the cooked balls in the sugar mixture and voila, it's ready!


The recipe makes 7-8 balls. If you have a family, I recommend doubling the proportions!


But since it's so easy to make and at its best in the first two days, I suggest repeating it often! Haha!
